The MSI Z390-A PRO was built on the latest Intel chipset on the day of this writing, the Z390. This motherboard is loaded with four DDR4 memory slots that supports up to 64GB and up to 4400 MHz speed. Two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, and four 3.0 x1 slots. Six SATA III ports and a 1 M.2 slot. This motherboard can be used for AMD CrossFire setup. The M.2 slot supports Intel Optane for your storage, the M.2 slot support up to PCIe 3.0 x4 speeds, meaning, the data read and write are significantly faster than the SATA III drives.
