Easy to install and easy to hook up. Use this to install a drive you want access to in the front tray of your system where you can swap it in and out or take it with you. Blue led lights up on tray with installed drive. Drive trays eject easily and although they have locks on them you don't need to lock the drive to use it. Great upgrade to any build. The hard drive caddy gives you plenty of space for air circulation and anti-vibration springs to dampen noise. This backplane supports SAS & SATA interfaces along with enterprise grade 2.5” HDDs.
