Use this Power Button Metal Pin for iPhone 5 to restore functionality to your lock/power button. If you've recently opened your iPhone and the lock button no longer works then you may have misplaced the retainer pin. This pin acts as a lever which allows the lock button to make electrical contact to the logic board. Without this pin the button will no longer click. Installation is as easy as dropping the pin in the retainer dowel.
