When you choose to go with liquid cooling for your rig, you actually trade off airflow to the components on your motherboard. The Cryorig A40 Ultimate all-in-one liquid cooler is a traditional closed loop cooler but with the addition of a fan on the CPU waterblock to still provide airflow to nearby components like an air cooler would give. Without it, components like the VRM would have a shorter lifespan. The included HLC airflow fan is installed at an angle and can be oriented to push or pull air. The high-end radiator effectively cools down your CPU without a hitch.
