This Western Digital VelociRaptor 450GB SATA III Hard Drive is a perfect internal additional or back-up storage for your desktop systems. It has a SATA III 6Gb/s interface and 32MB for a blazing fast read and write speed. This drive features ICePack mounting frame that has a built-in heat sink that keeps this drive extra cool on operation. It is built with rotary acceleration feed forward or RAFF that optimizes operation and performance when used in a multi-drive chassis. This drive's recording head never touches the disk media ensuring less wear to the drive for better durability. This drive consumes less idle power for an ultra-cool and energy efficient operation.
