The 3 speed settings are 1200 / 1600 / 2000 RPM and the corresponding airflow and noise levels are 39 / 56 / 79 CFM& 25 / 28 / 30 dBA. This means if you want your fan to run slower and create less noise you can, or if you need to ramp it up to the max RPM and move the most air you can as well.
